The Vukelic Group specialises in commercial, retail and industrial property management, sales and leasing throughout Western Australia. Merge was engaged to design their new premises located in an upper floor tenancy of a heritage-listed building on Victoria Street, Bunbury.

The brief was to create a work space that didn’t feel like a standard sterile office so Merge focused on highlighting the original features of the beautiful old building and creating a light and bright space that the staff could enjoy being in.

All desks and cabinetry were customised built-in joinery to create the feel of furniture with character. The original skirting boards, architraves, cornices, window and door frames were highlighted with a dark feature colour which really pop against the fresh white interior walls. The Manager’s office features beautiful wall panelling which adds architectural detail and old-world feel, complimented by upholstered furniture in warm neutral tones. A large breakout room with kitchenette was created for staff enjoyment and casual group meetings which can be screened off with large white sheer dividing curtain for more privacy as required.
