Merge Building Design is a dedicated and passionate design team based in Bunbury, Western Australia.

Merge Building Design was created after Building Designer, Sam Lefroy, and Interior Designer, Emma Back, saw a niche market for clients who wanted to utilise both of their design services to really make the most out of their project. By dealing with just one design company, clients can enjoy the process and know that all aspects of their project are being looked after.

It is with this holistic design approach that Merge is able to design seamless spaces with harmony between the building design, the interior space and the exterior landscape to achieve some truly amazing results.

Merge strongly believes that design is in the details and works closely with clients to plan the complete finished product in the design and documentation stage. All aspects of the design are thought through carefully and customised design solutions are tailored to suit the client’s specific requirements. Clients can see their design come to life in 3D modelling software which helps them to fully understand and visualise the proposed design and make any changes at the early design stage, enabling more accurate costings of the project and also helping construction to run smoothly on site.

Interior design is such an important element of any space – both in providing a functional design and one that has the all-important ‘wow factor’ – so Merge strongly believes it should not be left as an after-thought but it should be integrated into the early planning stages and building design. Streamlining the design process helps Merge to achieve the optimal result for each project.
