Smalls Bar, Eaton

Project Category: Small Bar Fitout

Builder: Changing Spaces

Completion Date: 2017

An existing 324m2 shopping centre tenancy has been transformed into a trendy industrial-styled small bar. Expansive 6m high ceilings soar above with services such air-conditioning ducting and copper pipes expressed as a feature.

Exposed steelwork, polished concrete floors, recycled brickwork feature walls, copper accents and honed concrete benches work together to emphasise the industrial aesthetic. Soft green tones are brought in as an accent and provide a pop of colour against all of the neutral textures. An oversized 3m high timber entry pivot door leads into a feature circular planter which is planted with a large feature tree to bring the outdoors in. A long feature communal table snakes its way along the dining zone with a mix of concrete and marble mosaic tiles. Feature lighting creates a moody atmosphere.

Full toilet facilities, commercial kitchen, various dining zones, mezzanine function room, 360° bar, alfresco areas and beer garden are designed to flow seamlessly and create many options for patrons to relax and enjoy the space.
